Ainslie Davies

Ainslie Davies has been practising podiatry in Buderim, Qld since graduating from QUT with a Diploma in Applied Science – Podiatry (with Distinction) in 1991. Ainslie continued her studies through Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh with a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Podiatry. Running the practice has been supported by the completion of and Executive- MBA through University of the Sunshine Coast and completing The Company Directors course.

Ainslie has a keen interest in the high risk foot, which includes diabetes, neuropathy and rheumatoid foot conditions. Ainslie is currently a PhD candidate through QUT with a research topic on ‘Improving the screening for diabetes related peripheral neuropathy.’ The best thing about podiatry is “just helping people on a one to one basis. I like the way podiatry goes from diagnosing and assessing through to treatment for foot and leg problems.”

Ainslie is the current President with the Australian Podiatry Association. Ainslie also has teaching responsibilities with QUT podiatry students.
