Dr Jennifer Powell is a staff specialist radiologist at Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH) and works part time at QScan Radiology Clinics.   Following completion of general radiology training and advanced training in paediatrics and cardiac imaging she undertook a musculoskeletal fellowship through QScan under the supervision of Dr Gary Shepherd and the QScan musculoskeletal team.  She is a member of the Australian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG).  She is also certified with the RANZCR conjoint committee in cardiac CT and cardiac MRI and holds level 3 accreditation with SCMR.  Jennifer is passionate about providing quality care to patients and developing effective relationships with other clinicians and finding novel ways to answer challenging questions.  She has research interests in cardiothoracic imaging, neonatal coronary arteries and general paediatrics and enjoys teaching anyone who shows even polite interest in the dark arts of radiology.
