Driving Assessments | neuropathy and nerve changes - what happens and who should we be concerned about

Nicole will be facilitating an interactive discussion and exploration of the functional impact of foot neuropathy and nerve changes with a focus on the impact of these conditions upon an individual’s capacity to safely drive a motor vehicle. Discussion will include understanding and assessing the capacity of the individual’s foot function for driving as well as exploration of treatment and intervention options from an allied health and medical perspective. Exploration of ‘red flags’ for fitness to drive and need for cessation of driving will also be discussed and considered from a client centred perspective.
