BIO:
Dr Ivan Bristow is a Podiatrist in the United Kingdom who has worked in the profession for thirty years. From early on in his career, after spotting a melanoma on a patients leg as a student, he has developed an interest in dermatological conditions affecting the feet (sometimes called "podiatric dermatology").

After leaving the health service, Ivan embarked on an academic career focused on teaching and research. During this time he completed his Masters Degree at the University of Oxford and his PhD at the University of Southampton. He holds private clinics in Hampshire whilst continuing to work on various dermatology related projects in education and research.

With over 100 published papers on the subject of foot dermatology, including four books, and has spoken around the world at many meetings in dermatology, podiatry and wound care he continues to promote knowledge and research into treating common skin problems affecting the foot. He currently holds adjunct academic positions at UK & Australian Universities.
