PRESENTATION TITLE:
Pedal Acceleration Time (PAT): A Novel Technique to Evaluate Foot Perfusion Using Duplex Ultrasound
PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION:
In complex diabetic patients our current physiologic testing can be limiting. Direct interrogation of the pedal arch using duplex ultrasound allows visualization of anatomy, flow direction, and a way to quantify foot perfusion using pedal acceleration time (PAT).
Jill is a registered vascular technologist (vascular ultrasound) living in Hood River, Oregon. With over 20 years of experience, she currently works in Vascular Surgery at PeaceHealth Medical Center in Vancouver, WA.
