A case study will look at the way clinical decision making and risk differ when managing elite athletes compared to the general population. It will highlight the benefits of and important nature of a multidisciplinary approach in order to get the best outcome. This is shown using a case study of a female professional footballer with an interesting ankle injury and a long list of past lower limb injuries by the age of 22.
