We are holding our event at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre: 2684-2690 Gold Coast Hwy, Broadbeach.
Once you arrive at the GCCEC our event rooms are on Level 1. Directions will be on electronic signage at the venue but look out for GCCEC or APodA staff to help you find our event space.
The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre carpark entrance is at the northern end of the building.

G:Link Light Rail
The Gold Coast's G:link light rail system is a 13-kilometre corridor connecting Helensvale Train Station to Broadbeach, passing through the key activity centres of Surfers Paradise and Southport. To access GCCEC, ride the G:link to the Broadbeach North Station, just across the road from our main entrance on Gold Coast Highway. For more details visit https://ridetheg.com.au.
Bus
Surfside Buslines operate frequently from the bus stop outside GCCEC on Gold Coast Highway.
We have RATs, masks, sanitiser and social distancing! We even have an isolation rooms, but that will not stop the virus, it is true. We are complying with QLD and GCCEC guidelines. There is no obligation to perform a test prior to attending but we do encourage delegates to do what you wish to feel comfortable.
If you are on site at the GCCEC and feel you have Covid symptoms please contact Pauline Taylor from the APodA on 0421 048 945 and she will meet you, direct you to our isolation room and supply you a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and mask. We will work with you from there should you continue to feel unwell or test positive.
The APodA have RATs and masks available for your use.

Meet up and have a walk around the Gold Coast - please check your registration to make sure we know you will be joining us.
Meet in the exhibition area at the Mizuno stand (right next to Registration Desk).
Mizuno Morning Run

The run will be a casual out-and-back, leaving from the GCCEC and going for approximately 30min.

Our special Meditation & Yoga Teacher Jo Nevin is looking forward to seeing you bright and early on Saturday 3 September to help ease you into your day with a relaxing 30min yoga session.

The Delegate App allows you to view the two day program, speaker infrmation, type event notes, network with other attendees, view exhibitors and sponsors and look out for any alerts the APodA staff may send delegates.
The event app will soon be available to install onto your smart phone or tablet. You will be able to download and install your mobile app from your Android or Apple Apps Stores just search for EventsAIR.

This is a hands-on experiential event designed to give firsthand skills and knowledge. Due to the nature of the event it will not be recorded, but some presentations may be available for distribution after the event.
Yes, please! Delegates will have received an email from the APodA with a direct link to their registration. You can go back to your registration and add your attendance at the Exhibition Drinks, Mizuno Run or Conference Dinner and Dance to let us know you will be attending.
No, you do not need to pre-register for the workshops. On the day you will choose which session you want to attend.
The APodA team are so keen to see you all in real life and will be at the registration desk at the following times

Yes, a CPD Certificate and presentation handouts will be issued to all delegates electronically at the conclusion of the event. We will get this to you as soon as possible but may take up to 3 business days.
It is the delegates responsibility to declare the hours attended and keep a log of CPD activities and record the following details including:
- Date it was completed
- Description of the activity
- Category
- Number of CPD hours claimed, and goal achieved.
You will receive a certificate of attendance for the 2 day seminar. This certificate is a good document to show evidence of the CPD activity but it is your responsibility to keep a log of CPD activities that records the following details about this CPD activity including:
· Date it was completed
· Description of the activity
· Category
· Number of CPD hours claimed, and goal achieved.
