Assess, Align & Activate: A multimodal strategy to assess & manage foot & ankle OA

Level up your management of foot & ankle OA with this MSK workshop where we will demonstrate to you (using products from the trade displays) on how to assess, educate & rehabilitate patients with foot & ankle OA. Firstly, we will demonstrate the use of plantar pressure measures to provide invaluable information in assessment, patient education (they love this) & as a biofeedback tool for strengthening interventions (there is no cheating). Secondly, footwear developed specifically for foot & ankle pathologies like OA will be demonstrated (e.g. rearfoot rockers versus forefoot rockers). And finally, neuromuscular electrical stimulation & TENS techniques for improving strength, proprioception & to help manage pain will be demonstrated. You will be guaranteed at least one major takeaway for your clinical practice on Monday!
