Jade's background stems in clinical podiatry with a focus in musculoskeletal health. This is further supported by her clinical research, which has focused on non-surgical interventions for pain management, translating to increased physical activity.
Recently, part of Jade's research focus has shifted to the use of outcome measures in individuals with lower-limb absence (LLA), with the aim to help increase access to resources in lower- and middle-income countries. Jade's research has been presented at both national and international conferences, and published within high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
Jade has over five years of experience teaching and developing curriculum within undergraduate podiatry and prosthetic and orthotic courses. The impact of her teaching has been recognised through university dean and vice-chancellor awards.
Jade enjoys working as part of a collaborative team who are driven to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients, students, other members of the team, and the wider community.
