I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of South Australia where I coordinate Biomechanics of Human Movement and Sports Biomechanics. Prior to my current position I held a CJ Martin Research Fellowship at the University of Leeds, funded by the National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
My main streams of research broadly relate to clinical and sports biomechanics for improving health and human performance. My current work in clinical populations focuses on the relationship between biomechanical and structural features of midfoot osteoarthritis using MRI.
I have published and shared my work widely in scientific journals (60+ papers) and at international and national conferences. I also strongly value collaboration and finding solutions for end users, and my current projects with industry partners are focused on wearable sensors for running gait analysis and footwear development using 3D scanning.
