STREAM: Podiatric Medicine and Diagnosis 

Presentation: Palmoplantar Psoriasis  

A discussion about the subtypes of palmoplantar psoriasis including hyperkeratotic palmoplantar psoriasis, palmoplantar pustulosis and acrodermatitis continua of hallopeau. We will discuss the varied treatment modalities available including practical tips for patients and an in-depth look at topical therapies.

Biography

Prue Gramp is the Dermatology Registrar at the Gold Coast University Hospital. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at Griffith University and a Graduate Certificate in Infectious Disease Intelligence at the University of NSW. She has teaching and research interests as a facilitator at Griffith University Medical School and as an Associate Investigator under the QLD Chief Health Officer Dr John Gerard for a malaria vaccine clinical trial.  She has published several dermatological papers in peer reviewed journals, including the Australasian Journal of Dermatology, Medicine Today, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases and DermNetNZ. She has presented at the annual scientific meetings for the Australasian College of Dermatology, The Australasian Dermatopathologists, The International Congress of Dermatology and the Rural Medicine Australia Conference.
