Looking at Options that Orthotist can offer to Podiatrist for collaboration and outcomes for children.

Biography

Brianna graduated from LaTrobe University in 2011 with a bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics. She relocated to Queensland on a rural health scholarship and worked at The Royal Women’s and Children’s hospital, and later at The Princess Alexander hospital, seeing a mixed case load of acute and non acute clients in both the Orthotics and Prosthetics field. 

Seeking more paediatric specific experience Brianna moved to Adelaide in 2013 to work at Novita Children’s Services, where she worked in a multidisciplinary team seeing children with a range of diagnosis and presentations. In 2024 Brianna secured a Job at Orthokids, Victorias largest paediatric specific Orthotic company. Brianna has been working there in both clinical roles as a Senior Orthotist and management roles as a project coordinator. Brianna sees a range of clinical cases including upper and lower limb orthotics, toe walking, hip dysplasia and helmet therapy.  With a dedicated team-based approach Brianna works closely with allied health professionals, Paediatricians and Orthopaedic Surgeons to address the needs and goals of her clients.
