Airport Transfers

If you have booked one of the airport transfers to and from the venue, we have set up a WhatsApp group to keep you updated and make communication easy. Please make sure you have WhatsApp installed on your phone and keep an eye out for our invitation to join the group.

Other Venue Transport Options

Whether you’re traveling by public transport or car, there are convenient options available to get you to the event in Terrigal. Below are details on both public transport routes and driving directions to help you plan your journey efficiently.

Public Transport  
To reach the event, catch a train to Gosford Station on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From there, take Bus Route 67, 68, or 69 to Terrigal, which will take around 30-45 minutes. For timetable information and to plan your journey, visit the Transport for NSW Trip Planner.

Car  
To reach the event by car, drive to Terrigal. If coming from Sydney, take the M1 Pacific Motorway north towards Gosford and take the Gosford exit. Follow the signs to Terrigal, which is approximately a 90-minute drive. If driving from Newcastle, take the M1 Pacific Motorway south and follow the signs to Gosford, then to Terrigal. This drive takes about 1 hour.

Parking

Delegate can park onsite for $35 per car, per night. Alternatively, there is a free public Wilson Road parking station across the road.



Where do I collect my name badge?  

The registration desk will be located in the Hawkesbury Lobby. Registration opens at 9am on Friday 2nd August and 8:30am Saturday 3rd August.  


Symposium Dress Code 

The dress code for the symposium is business casual. It's always a good idea to dress for the occasion, so we hope you'll come looking sharp and feeling confident!

Social Functions Dress Code 

We look forward to hosting you at the welcome drinks Thursday night and Networking function Friday night. The dress code is smart casual. As the social functions will take place both indoors and outdoors during winter, we recommend bringing a jacket to ensure you stay warm and comfortable.

Will I receive a CPD Certificate?

Absolutely! You will receive a CPD Certificate electronically at the end of the event. We will endeavor to send these to you as soon as possible, although it may take up to 5 business days. It's important to note that as a delegate, it is your responsibility to declare the hours attended and keep a log of your CPD activities, including the date completed, a description of the activity, the category, number of CPD hours claimed, and the goal achieved.


How many hours can I allocate to my annual CPD by attending this event?

You will receive an attendance certificate for Category 1 Professional Development (attending a conference), it's up to you to determine how many hours, and include in your CPD log. Refer to the Podiatry Board of Australia's CPD guidelines for further guidance.


Can I purchase a trade exhibition only ticket?

We do not offer trade hall only tickets. However, we do offer one-day tickets that grant access to the entire symposium, including the trade exhibition. To purchase your one-day ticket, please visit our registration page where you can select the day of your choice 


Do I need to register for the social events?

Yes, please! Delegates will have received an email from the APodA with a direct link to their registration.  You can go back to your registration and add your attendance to let us know you will be attending. 


Can I bring a guest to the Networking function?

Absolutely! We'd love for you to bring a guest to the networking function. To do so, simply purchase a guest ticket for them at a cost of $75.00. We can't wait to see you both at the event and hope you have a great time!

I can no longer attend, what should I do? 

In the event you are unable to attend you may nominate a substitute at anytime, please send an email to events@podiatry.org.au. You can view the full Terms and Conditions here.
