There is a secure car park underneath the hotel. The entrance is 186 Exhibition Street. Please note this car park cannot be booked in advance. Otherwise, there is street parking available around the hotel; however, please take note of parking regulations.
Symposium guests can receive a discounted parking rate of $45, while overnight guests at Rydges Melbourne receive a rate of $60. Other car parking complexes at Paramount and Southern Cross Lane are the next closest.
The registration desk will be located on Level 1, outside the Meeting Place. Registration opens at 9am on Friday 11th October and 9:00am Saturday 12th October.
The dress code for the symposium is business casual. It's always a good idea to dress for the occasion, so we hope you'll come looking sharp and feeling confident!
Absolutely! You will receive a CPD Certificate electronically at the end of the event. We will endeavor to send these to you as soon as possible, although it may take up to 5 business days. It's important to note that as a delegate, it is your responsibility to declare the hours attended and keep a log of your CPD activities, including the date completed, a description of the activity, the category, number of CPD hours claimed, and the goal achieved.
You will receive an attendance certificate for Category 1 Professional Development (attending a conference), it's up to you to determine how many hours, and include in your CPD log. Refer to the Podiatry Board of Australia's CPD guidelines for further guidance.
Yes, please! Delegates will have received an email from the APodA with a direct link to their registration. You can go back to your registration and add your attendance to let us know you will be attending.
We do kindly request that you RSVP to all social events you intend on attending to ensure we cater accordingly and can cater for any dietary requirements.
Absolutely! We'd love for you to bring a guest to the networking function. To do so, simply purchase a guest ticket for them at a cost of $50.00. We can't wait to see you both at the event and hope you have a great time!
