Parking

Adelaide Oval operates two car parks on non-event days. These car parks are open to all visitors including Oval Hotel guests and those attending functions at Adelaide Oval. 

East Car Park

  • Access via King William Road (north-bound lanes only)
  • Open 24/7 (excluding event days)
  • Wilson Parking fees apply
  • Wilson Parking offers a $15.50 Early Bird Book-A-Bay Car Park in the East Car Park on non-event days.

North Car Park

  • Access via Pennington Terrace
  • Open 24/7 (excluding event days)
  • Wilson Parking fees apply
  • Wilson Parking offers a $10 Book-A-Bay Car Park in the North Car Park on non-event days.

For more information regarding parking offers please visit wilsonparking.com.au. Alternatively, if you don't pre-organise a parking offer there will be a parking attendant at the APodA registration desk available to validate your parking ticket at a flat rate of $18 per day.


Other Venue Transport Options

Adelaide Oval is located 400 meters from the CBD and just a few minutes’ walk from public transport networks (train, bus and tram). Patrons are strongly encouraged to use public transport when attending events at Adelaide Oval.

Train  
The Adelaide Railway Station is located on North Terrace, approximately a five-minute walk across the Riverbank footbridge or via King William Street. For timetables and more information visit the Adelaide Metro website.

Tram
Trams operate between Glenelg and the city with stops located on North Terrace and King William Road (outside the Adelaide Festival Centre). For timetables and more information please visit the Adelaide Metro website.

Bus  
Bus services run throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area and service several bus stops in the vicinity of Adelaide Oval. Refer to the Adelaide Metro website for details.

Taxi  
On major event days taxi ranks and drop-off zones are located on Pennington Terrace and King William Road.

Cycling 
Bike racks are located outside the North, South and East gates.


Where do I collect my name badge?  

The registration desk will be located out the front of the William Magarey Room. Registration opens at 9am on Friday 1st March and 8:30am Saturday 2nd March.  


Dress Code 

The dress code for the conference is business casual. It's always a good idea to dress for the occasion, so we hope you'll come looking sharp and feeling confident!


Will I receive a CPD Certificate?

Absolutely! You will receive a CPD Certificate electronically at the end of the event. We will endeavor to send these to you as soon as possible, although it may take up to 5 business days. It's important to note that as a delegate, it is your responsibility to declare the hours attended and keep a log of your CPD activities, including the date completed, a description of the activity, the category, number of CPD hours claimed, and the goal achieved.


How many hours can I allocate to my annual CPD by attending this event?

You will receive an attendance certificate for Category 1 Professional Development (attending a conference), it's up to you to determine how many hours, and include in your CPD log. Refer to the Podiatry Board of Australia's CPD guidelines for further guidance.


When does Early Bird close?  

Early Bird pricing will be closing on February 9th 2024, so be sure to register before then to take advantage of the discounted rates.


Can I purchase a trade exhibition only ticket?

We do not offer trade hall only tickets. However, we do offer one-day tickets that grant access to the entire symposium, including the trade exhibition. To purchase your one-day ticket, please visit our registration page where you can select the day of your choice 


Can I bring my Practice Manager?

As an APodA member, we're excited to offer you an exclusive opportunity. We recognise the crucial role your practice manager plays in your business, and we would love to invite them to come along to our Networking Function. Please use your unique Registration link to bring your Practice Manger to the networking function for an additional fee of $25.00. 


I am a non-member, can I bring my Practice Manager?

Bringing your Practice Manger to the Networking Function is a APodA Member only benefit. However, becoming a member of the APodA can offer many benefits, including discounted rates on tickets and access to exclusive resources and events. If you're interested in becoming a member, you can visit the APodA website and explore the different membership options available.


Do I need to register for the social events?

Yes, please! Delegates will have received an email from the APodA with a direct link to their registration.  You can go back to your registration and add your attendance to let us know you will be attending. 


Can I bring a guest to the Networking function?

Absolutely! We'd love for you to bring a guest to the networking function. To do so, simply purchase a guest ticket for them at a cost of $50.00. We can't wait to see you both at the event and hope you have a great time!

I can no longer attend, what should I do? 

In the event you are unable to attend you may nominate a substitute at anytime, please send an email to events@podiatry.org.au. You can view the full Terms and Conditions here.
