Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours)
Mitchell is a Melbourne-based podiatrist with a clinical and research interest in paediatrics and child health. He is currently a PhD candidate with the Monash University School of Primary and Allied Health Care, working as part of the MRFF-funded ‘Kids Leg Pain’ project. His research focus is chronic primary musculoskeletal pain impacting the lower limb in children and adolescents.
Mitchell received his Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours) from University of South Australia where he completed and published research on developmental coordination disorder (DCD) in children and how this interfaces with the podiatry profession. He has presented at national and international conferences including the Australian Podiatry Conference and the International Motor Development Research Consortium. Mitchell works clinically in the public sector as the Senior Podiatrist with the Monash Health Child and Family Program and as a teaching associate within the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Monash University.
